Type: Raw Pu'erh
Subtle tones of nectarine and lily hidden in a soft, creamy, honeyed body that develops jasmine and cedar wood undertones with subsequent brews. Harvested from trees older than three hundred years, from forgotten imperial tea gardens established during Dynastic China, Xigui's popularity soared after 2015. Needless to say, over-picking followed and quality never quite returned to pre-2015 levels. We also heard rumours that the Chinese Government intends to build dams around the area in 2019/2020.
